Das Area4 Festival bleibt auch in diesem Jahr nicht vom Pech verschont. Aufgrund eines Knöchelbruchs von Schlagzeuger Joey Jordison haben Slipknot ihren Headliner-Auftritt am Sonntagabend abgesagt. "We know you will be hugely disappointed and so are we" lässt die Band in einem Statement verlauten, welches ihr komplett in den Kommentaren findet. Die Absage gilt natürlich auch für die Show am 27. August in Hamburg und sämtliche weitere Auftritte in Europa in den nächsten zwei Wochen.
