Der Warped Tour Sampler. Einmal im Jahr kommt er so sicher wie Weihnachten. Und ebenso sicher beschenkt uns dieser mit einem Spotpreis von 10€ über 50 Bands mit guter Musik.
Was soll man da noch groß sagen? Guter Preis, gute Musik, gute Idee. Einziges Manko was mir am diesjährigen Warped Tour Sampler etwas missfällt, ist die große Anzahl an Emobands, die auf ihm vertreten sind. Wo bleibt denn da der Punkrock? Na klar, Anti-Flag, The Casualties, Rise Against, Boucing Souls, Relient K, Good Riddance, Gogol Bordello, Flogging Molly und NOFX, sie alle sind auf dem Sampler vorhanden, aber ebenso halt auch gleich mehrere Stapel Bands von der Emofront, z.B. Saves The Day (welche allerdings mit einem verdammt starken Song endlich wieder an ihre alten Tage anknüpfen), Underoath, Chiodos, American Eyes, Protest The Hero, I Am Ghost, Crash Romeo, Roses Are Red etc. Das mag an sich kein Kritikpunkt sein, schließlich ist Musik ja dem individuellen Geschmack unterworfen, trotzdem hätte ich mir doch noch etwas mehr Punkrock gewünscht.
Nichtsdestotrotz wieder mal ein sehr guter Sampler.
Fazit: Vermutlich wie jedes Jahr mal wieder der Sampler des Jahres. Da könnte höchstens der Atticus Sampler dem Ganzen noch einen Strich durch die Rechnung machen.

am 4.8. kommt hopelessly devoted to you vol. 6, 2 cd (1 davon nur mit unveröffentlichtem zeug) sowie 1 dvd für ebenfalls unter 10 € in die läden... also ma mit sampler des jahres nich voreilig sein
