Das Melt! Festival findet in diesem Sommer am 17. - 19. Juli in der Ferropolis in Gräfenhainichen statt und gibt den nächsten Schwung an Bands bekannt. Unter anderem frisch bestätigt sind: Boys Noize + Erol Alkan, The Gossip, Kasabian, Muff Potter, Phoenix, Polarkreis 18 und Travis. Alle weiteren neuen Bands findet ihr in den Kommentaren. Zum Running Gag entwickelt sich inzwischen die Bestätigung von The Faint. Wie bereits im letzten Jahr canceln diese ihre Europa-Tour und werden daher nicht in der Ferropolis auftreten.

Auch das Rock Am Bach Festival am 11. & 12. Juli im Saarland gibt weitere Bands bekannt: Ignite, The Casting Out, Disco Ensemble, Sepultura

Brian Fallon, Sänger von The Gaslight Anthem, hat einen neuen Song namens Tin Pan Alley auf seiner MySpace-< Seite > zum anhören bereit gestellt.

Die Bouncing Souls feiern in diesem Jahr 20jähriges Band-Jubiläum und kommen aus diesem Anlass natürlich im Sommer auch endlich mal wieder nach Europa. Alle Dates im deutschsprachigen Raum findet ihr in den Kommentaren.

Jordan Burns, Drummer von Strung Out, hat sich bei den Proben zum neuen Album während des Schlagzeugspielens den Daumen an der linken Hand gebrochen. Ein ausführliches Statement findet ihr in den Kommentaren.

Nach Green Day-Meldung in der letzten Woche wurde nun auch von Nirvana angekündigt, dass in den nächsten Monaten der komplette Release-Katalog auf Vinyl veröffentlicht werden soll.

Und zum Abschluss hier auch noch die nächsten neuen Bands für die Hurricane und Southside Festivals am 19. - 21. Juni: Pixies, Just Jack, Howling Bells, Florence And The Machine und Auletta.

So, being that the plan was to start recording Monday, March 16th, and wanting to move forward without throwing things off schedule, we quickly came up with a game plan and got in touch with drummer Jarred Alexander (Throwdown, A Static Lullaby,DBS). He is helping out bigtime and now laying down all the drums as scratch tracks and doing a great job.

Then the guitars, bass, and vocals will be completed as usual. This will give Jordan proper time to heal up and he will re-record his drum tracks as the last process of the recording session.

Also meine Sensationsgeilheit ist doch hinlänglich bekannt! ;)

Aber um ehrlich zu sein, hatte ich das Statement heute morgen nur kurz überflogen. Danke für den Hinweis, hab's geändert!
