DAG NASTY & CURL UP AND DIE SIGN TO REVELATION RECORDS
Dag Nasty Revelation Records is pleased to announce the signing of Washington D.C.'s legendary Dag Nasty. After recording and releasing a new song in 1999 for the "Disarming Violence" compilation, rumors started to fly about the possibility of a new album. Well, those rumors are now in fact a reality. Featuring the line up from both "Can I Say" (Dischord) and "Four On The Floor" (Epitaph) of Dave Smalley- vocals (DYS, All, Down By Law), Brian Baker- guitars, (Minor Threat, Bad Religion), Colin Sears- drums, and Roger Marbury- bass, Dag Nasty will begin recording a brand new full length album at the beginning of January 2002. Teaming up once again with Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios in D.C., the album will be produced by Brian Baker and Doug Hansgen (Minor Threat). Curl Up And Die Amidst the bright lights and big noise of the colossal city of Las Vegas, there's a dark side of a luminous giant lurking. The entity is called passion and the passion is from five guys that exert both pain and beauty at the same time. They created a gallium from the heart and called it CURL UP AND DIE. Formed in 1998, Curl Up And Die spent one weekend at For The Record Studios in Orange, CA which resulted in the June 2000 self-release of "The Only Good Bug Is A Dead Bug" EP. Following that release, the band initiated a strict weekend touring schedule working around schooling and other obligations that continues to this day. After touring this past summer with the likes of 18 Visions, Poison The Well and an appearance at Hell Fest, the boys have just recorded their Revelation Records full length debut entitled "Unfortunately We're Not Robots" with Kurt Ballou at God City Studios near Boston, MA. Curl Up And Die is already starting to turn heads and generate enormous hype. Prepare yourself for the release that will put these kids on the map.
